It All Began

In 2015, I almost lost one of my dogs, Jazz. To pancreatitis from feeding her shop bought dog treats and her little body not being able to process it properly. I purchased a dehydrator and started to make my own snacks for her and my other dog, Lucy. Each week I would dehydrate beef liver and chicken breast and they loved them. Jazz and Lucy have not had an episode of pancreatitis since eating these treats. I made the snacks for my Mum and Dad’s dogs and shared them with other pet owners and they were increasingly popular. Not just dog people got them. A lady down the road had a cat that just loved them too.

I moved last year and mum have quite the pack of adorable pooches. In the mornings they bounce into the kitchen and wait by the refrigerator for the snacks to come out. Each one waiting with varying degrees of patience to be fed their snacks and then off for the day. After dinner they get 3 small pieces of liver as a bonus. Mum is sure they can count because they do not leave until they get all of them. Happy dogs!
